Hi, I'm Jenn!
I have always been extremely passionate about working with children from a young age. First starting out as a nursery practitioner, working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, before taking on a seniors role within the 2-3yr age group. I began my nannying career in 2014 for a wonderful family of 3 young children and this is where my true passion for understanding and supporting the demands of family life really drove my passion.
In 2015, I created The Event Nanny. A bespoke childcare service to support families during special occasions. To help make them stress free and enjoyable for all guests - even the littlest!
Since starting The Event Nanny, I have attended hundreds of various events throughout Scotland, supported many wonderful families from across the world, worked in some of Scotlands most prestigious venues and have the pleasure of working with some of the most talented suppliers in the UK. I am so grateful to everyone who has been on this journey with me!
When I’m not out at events, or managing the busy workload behind the scenes, you can usually find me at the gym or out walking my dog, Tilly, with a coffee in hand! For fun, I love concerts, F1 and listening to a great audiobook or podcast.

Hi, I'm Pamela!
I am a fully qualified childcare practitioner with 27 years of experience in various settings including nurseries, primary schools and even children’s clubs on cruise ships! I joined The Event Nanny team in 2017 and love meeting so many wonderful families and traveling to the most beautiful venues. No two events are ever the same and that’s what makes my job so special.
I enjoy every part of being an event nanny, but I have to admit, playing games with the children is one of my absolute favourites (and yes, I can get a little competitive!).
When I’m not at events, I work as a private nanny for two fantastic families, which I adore just as much. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our two children. We’re big fans of travelling and exploring new places together whenever we can!

Hi, I'm Shannon!
I have 6 years of childcare experience working in nurseries wirh children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Caring for children has always been something I’ve loved—especially spending time with my own nieces and nephews.
I joined The Event Nanny team in 2023 and being part of events is something I really enjoy. It’s so important to me that children feel safe, happy, and included, whether that’s through fun games and activities or by giving babies the comfort, cuddles, and care they need to feel settled throughout the day.
Alongside childcare, I’m a fully qualified personal trainer and currently studying sports therapy at college, but I always make time to be part of special occasions and to look after the little ones—it’s something that brings me so much joy.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the gym, travelling to new places, or spending quality time with my family.
I can’t wait to meet you and help make your day extra special for the children!
How It All Started
I have been asked many times throughout my career to care for children while their parents have to attend an event or even how to keep children happy when they too are invited to weddings etc. Therefore, The Event Nanny has been born! We aim to bring my passion, my energy and my enthusiasm to each and every child I care for. Armed with games, toys, crafts and tons of imagination we will create a fun, friendly and welcoming environment for children to enjoy and make the most out of any event or holiday. After all, happy children = happy parents!
