I am a fully qualified childcare practitioner and have experience working with children of all ages from 0-14 over the past 12 years.  At the age of 14, I qualified as an assistant gymnastics coach and from there my passion for children’s development grew.  I continued my coaching development and training for the following 6 years before moving into early years education.  I trained in Children’s Care and Learning Development Levels 2 & 3 whilst gaining valuable experience working in a nursery with babies from as young as 6 weeks to 5 years old. I progressed to Room Leader of the 2-3 year room for 2 years before taking a nanny position within a family caring for 3 young children.  I have also been a part of Song and Dance Factory for 5 years as a party host delivering magical party entertainment to children all over Scotland.  For additional peace of mind, I am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid; member of the PVG Scheme and fully insured.

I have been asked many times throughout my career to care for children while their parents have to attend an event or even how to keep children happy when they too are invited to weddings etc.  Therefore, The Event Nanny has been born!  I aim to bring my passion, my energy and my enthusiasm to each and every child I care for.  Armed with games, toys, crafts and tons of imagination I will create a fun, friendly and welcoming environment for children to enjoy and make the most out of any event or holiday. After all, happy children = happy parents!
